Tabethia Tiseo-Shell
Auxiliary President -

Tabethia Tiseo-Shell proudly serves as the new Auxiliary President of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars Post 269 Mill Springs Post in Somerset, Kentucky. Although she has been involved with
the VFW Auxiliary for a short time, her passion for service, community involvement, and
supporting veterans and their families has quickly made a meaningful impact within the Post.
Tabethia’s vision for the Auxiliary focuses on growing membership, strengthening community
engagement, expanding fundraising efforts, and increasing support services for veterans and their
families. She believes strong organizations are built through compassion, teamwork, and creating
a welcoming environment where people feel connected and valued.
Alongside her husband of 20 years, Milt, Tabethia has dedicated much of her life to helping
others through charitable work, motorcycle benefit rides, and community outreach. For nine
consecutive years, they provided full-size Easter baskets to a women’s and children’s shelter
supporting victims of abuse — a cause that remains especially close to their hearts. Together,
they have built a life centered around generosity, kindness, and service to others.
A passionate culinary professional and catering business owner, Tabethia believes food has a
unique way of bringing people together. Her love for cooking and hospitality is rooted in creating
memorable experiences, strengthening relationships, and building community around the table.
She brings that same spirit of warmth and connection into her leadership within the Auxiliary.
Originally relocating to Kentucky nearly two years ago after Milt’s retirement, the couple
embraced life in the Bluegrass State with one important condition — experiencing all four
seasons, especially fall, Tabethia’s favorite time of year and the beginning of the holiday season
she loves so dearly. Together they share a blended family of four adult children, one grandchild,
and three beloved fur babies: German Shepherds Mia and Bella, and Louie the cat.
Known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, Tabethia is someone who believes in showing up for
others, lending a helping hand whenever possible, and making people feel seen and supported.
As Auxiliary President, she is honored to continue serving the Somerset community while
helping strengthen the mission and future of VFW Post 269 Mill Springs Post.
