New Post Announcement: A Fresh Breath for Post 269
Effective April 20, 2026, VFW Post 269 will officially transition to a non-smoking environment inside the canteen.
Our goal is to ensure the Post remains a vibrant, healthy, and family-friendly environment where all our veterans, their families, and our community guests feel comfortable spending time together. We believe this change will help us better serve our mission of comradeship and community service in a space that everyone can enjoy.
We understand this is a significant shift for some of our long-time patrons. We ask for your patience and courtesy toward our staff and fellow members as we navigate this transition together.
Leadership is working on possible solutions to an outdoor smoking area protected from the weather during the colder months.
Thank you for your continued support in making Post 269 the best it can be for the next generation of veterans!
